The opening ceremony of the "Tivat Photo Days" photography festival will take place at the Tivat Museum and Gallery on Friday, April 5, at 7:00 PM.
Following the selection of entries on the theme of "Transition," the best work will receive an award and recognition at this year's festival; additionally, two diplomas and awards will be presented for the best documentary work, alongside a Publikum Award. All authors selected for this year's festival will receive a certificate.
As part of "Tivat Photo Days," a panel discussion on the topic of concept and photography will be held following the festival's opening.
A workshop for children on the topic of photography and ecology will be organized during the coming days of the festival.
The goal of the festival is the education and affirmation of Montenegrin photographers as well as all photography lovers, working with children and young people and creating quality cultural and artistic content in the pre-season.
In addition to the exhibition of works selected through the open call, the festival will feature an exhibition of works by Montenegrin fine art photographer Vojo Radonjić. The opening of these two exhibitions will take place on April 5 at 7:00 PM at the Tivat Museum and Gallery, and the works will remain on display for the next fifteen days.
The selector of this year's festival is photographer Stevo Vasiljević. At the opening, the director of the Tivat Museum and Gallery Danijela Đukić will speak, and the festival will be opened by Ana Matić, MSc.
The festival is organized by the NGO "Fluid Drum" from Tivat and the Public Institution "Museum and Gallery Tivat".
