An exhibition titled "Visions" by academic painter Julia Točilina opened last night at the Tivat Museum and Gallery. Freelance artist Mile Albijanić spoke about the exhibition, highlighting that...

The subtlety and tenderness of her works—ranging from early drawings and illustrations to mature paintings—are so fairytale-like and mysterious that they create a unique atmosphere. This subtlety is conveyed primarily through her color palette; she favors and selects autumnal hues, painting in layers of transparent color to build depth in both space and time, thereby evoking the spirit of a bygone era. Her current paintings—typically small to medium in format—range from the meticulous to the masterfully blurred, composed of layers and mists that suggest the fairytale and the imaginary. Often, the composition centers on a single figure whose head dissolves into a visual representation of a fairytale the figure is likely contemplating, or a poem they are currently weaving.

The exhibition was opened by the institution's director, who emphasized that the "Visions" (Viđenja) exhibition launches an exhibition season that it will greatly enrich; visitors and art lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy works by Petar Hranueli, Slavko Krunić, Đorđije Vujičić, Zoran Kruta, and Milutin Obradović, as well as the ULUTV exhibition—featuring works donated thanks to the vision of academic painter and Tivat native Ivica Aranđus—and the "1st Tivat Art Salon Pean-Sindik."
