The exhibition "Evolution" by artist Veljo Stanišić opened last night at the Tivat Museum and Gallery. Zoran Kruta, a museum educator and academic painter, welcomed the attendees on behalf of the institution, while Andrija Radulović, President of the Art Colony, opened the exhibition.
"These paintings force you to imagine, to listen, to move. Velj Stanišić's painting does not ask questions, it opens and touches with color and line, perceives and searches for existence, for meaning," pointed out Radulović. "Just as a bone shines in the depths of the sea and the black earth, and in a stone preserved by magma, fire, to wake up once, so those points shine with him, those traces of existence and disappearance, renewal and creation. Of course, adopted and conquered by the indisputable modern artistic language. But with his own language of colors, which he awakened unintentionally and intentionally, which speak of him and his ideas, more dreaming of the awakening of hope - hope for man, for nature, for the world."
