II Tivatski likovni salon Pean – Sindik: Imaginarijum Mediterana

Dear candidates,

The Tivat Museum and Gallery announced the call for entries for the "2nd Tivat Art Salon Pean – Sindik" on March 12, 2025; the call remained open until August 15, 2025.

The theme of the salon "Imaginarium of the Mediterranean" represents the synergy of past and present achievements, through which the spirit of Sindiko's and Pean's creativity would be revived. The aim of the exhibition is to emanate the character of the Mediterranean through the medium of painting, through a unique interpretation of Mediterranean identity, culture, tradition, but also atmosphere, vibrations and color visualizations. The theme can be represented figuratively, abstractly, metaphorically and symbolically.

The expert jury—comprising art historian Tatjana Kriještorac (Montenegro), art historian Nevenka Šarčević (Croatia), and academic sculptor Paola Korošec (Slovenia)—determined that 130 applications were submitted for the "2nd Tivat Art Salon Pean – Sindik." Following the selection process, the jury decided that 36 artists would be featured in the exhibition, which is to be held at the Tivat Museum and Gallery as part of the Municipality of Tivat’s "November Days" program.
