To mark International Museum Day, observed this year under the slogan "Museums Unite a Divided World," two exhibitions have opened at the Tivat Museum and Gallery.

"Ponte i mandraći" – an exhibition dedicated to preserving the traditional Boka coastline and local identity. During the opening, Tara Nikolić and Milan Vujović were named the Faces of the Museum for 2026/27, with the aim of involving young people in heritage preservation.

"People of the Sea" – an art photography exhibition by the regional platform Adriatic Artists (featuring artists from Montenegro, Croatia, and Serbia), realized in collaboration with the 2026 Wind Festival. The exhibition focuses on portraits of people whose lives are inextricably linked to the sea.

In front of the museum, Director Danijela Đukić greeted the attendees on behalf of the public institution, Antonela Stjepčević on behalf of the Wind Fest organization, and academic painter Boris Dragojević on behalf of the Adriatic Artists association.
