Opened exhibition "Drawings and sculptures" by Petr Hranuelli.

The exhibition "Drawings and Sculptures" by Petar Hranuelli opened last night at the Tivat Museum and Gallery.

It is undeniable that, at first glance, one perceives an inextricable synthesis characterized by an unusually sincere, direct, spontaneous, and subtle approach to the artistic means used for definition—regardless of the specific form of artistic expression. Hranueli’s drawing reveals a Matisse-like line, one full of sensibility in its simplicity and possessing an innocence—childlike to the very core—that resonates with our deepest emotions, evoking beings etched in the timeless and the eternal.

Having already shown himself a rare mastery of sculptures in glass, this time he decided to use stone. In the form of stone sculptures, the artist manifests his authenticity in the relationship with matter such as stone.

"Viewing stone as a challenge, Hranueli succeeds—through his refined spiritual warmth, masterful craftsmanship, and the interplay of light and dark polished surfaces—in transforming its cold structure into a vibrantly living form that liberates us and unconsciously elevates us to distant archetypal spheres," noted art historian Lucija Đurašković in her speech.

The exhibition Drawings of Sculptures by Petar Hranuelli opened last night at the Museum and Gallery Tivat.

„It is undeniable that at first glance, one can see a specific unbreakable synthesis characterized by a frank, direct, spontaneous, and subtle approach to artistic means, which defines whether it is one form of creative expression.

Hranueli’s drawing reveals Matisse’s line, which is full of sensibility in its simplicity and childish innocence to the core of what we feel with our deepest emotions as beings outlined in the imperishable and eternal. Having already demonstrated his rare mastery of glass sculptures, he used stone this time.

The artist expresses his authenticity about matter, such as stone in stone sculptures.“ – Art historian Lucija Đurašković pointed out in her speech.
