The book launch for "Tivatski fragmenti" (Tivat Fragments) by Milan Komar will take place on Thursday, July 4, in the garden of the Buća-Luković Summer House, starting at 9:00 PM.
The book will be presented by the author himself—Navy Captain Milan Komar—along with publicist and journalist Siniša Luković and Navy Captain and submariner Jordan Jovanović, while Olivera Mišković Vidojević, Secretary for Social Activities of the Municipality of Tivat, will welcome the attendees.
The book "Tivat Fragments"—as Siniša Luković noted in his review—represents an "incredible mix of a classic diary, a sort of stream-of-consciousness novel, and a first-hand historical record" covering the period from 1990 to 2000 and, among other things, the operations of the "Sava Kovačević" Naval Technical Overhaul Institute.
The printing of the book and the organization of the launch event were supported by the Municipality of Tivat, so free copies of this edition will be available to all attendees.
