An exhibition of paintings titled "An Ordinary Little Dream" by academic painter Milutin Obradović opened last night at the Tivat Museum and Gallery.
Fans of museums, culture and art were greeted by director Danijela Đukić, while the exhibition was opened by Vanja Kovačević, M.Sc., pointing out that the author "with each of his paintings confirms the most important thing of all art, that he has space and the possibility of creating an infinite number of worlds which, what is especially important, are just as real as the one we live in."
Fine artist Milutin Obradović expressed his gratitude to everyone who made it possible for a simple, tiny dream to shine so brightly. One should not feign life—for that is impossible—but rather enact this truth with all the authenticity the heart can muster, making it so convincing that the eyes believe and the soul recognizes it as the only path. And that is why these paintings are like toys. They will reveal you, entangle you, and even spoil you; yet above all, they will mend you—in a truly noble, human way, just as only a toy knows how.
